What this means to me

MY MISSION

I am an retired ER Nurse with a great family who supports my mission & knows how important it is to me. I have been making these thin blue line paracord bracelets since Feb 2015, the LAPD lost Officer Nick Lee, Officer Chris Cortijo & Officer Roberto Sanchez between March-May 2014, then after the senseless murders of 2 NYPD officers on 12/20/14, it was too much, I had to do something. They will never be forgotten by me & I wear a dog tag with their pictures everyday.

The Big Picture

The idea behind this is when officers see other officers with my paracord bracelet on, knowing that 1 person made them for all of them, that it will show them how important they are to society & how much they are Loved & Appreciated.

When I saw on the news that Det. Ramos & Det. Liu were killed just because of the uniform they wear, I felt sad, angry & concerned for my local officers & decided to publicly support them & show them that I care & that they Matter.

When I started this non-profit I had so many ideas that I wanted to accomplish to help boost the morale of my LAPD officers but I didn’t know anything about running it or fundraising & I’m not the type really to ask for money so thats why I just gave up my official charity status & continue to make my bracelets & give them to officers like always! Since my heart condition that showed up in 2019 caused me to retire from the ER, life has changed but Im still passionate about my mission.💙

*The main goal and purpose is to Respect, Appreciate & Honor Officers!

*My main priority is making thin blue line paracord bracelets for every LAPD Officer.

*I also have hosted lunch for Mission LAPD station and will often tie blue ribbons at the stations to show support. I randomly give gift cards to police officers when I see them too.

*Our police officers absolutely deserve & need our support! They deal with our worst nightmares everyday to keep us safe.

*This is completely funded by Me and every paracord bracelet is made by hand, by Me & they are given to officers 100% free!
